Wash dirty dishes because new workers are unacceptable!
PETALING JAYA: Disgust and disgust. That's what it feels when watching video shows that some workers at a restaurant in the capital are washing dishes using water that looks dirty and stagnant.
The 30-second video recorded a trusted worker from a restaurant in Bangsar was dipping his plate in dirty water without rinsing it before continuing to put it in one corner.
Records performed secretly by unknown individuals are believed to be recorded from the top of a nearby building.
Since it was uploaded on Tuesday evening, the video was tular up to over 263,000 views and gained 8,234 shares.
The post received various negative reactions among netizens, including requesting that the restaurant be closed.
Following the incident, Raj's Banana Leaf restaurant Bangsar branch offers a free 'Buka Puasa' meal on Thursday, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
However, a netizen, Rjuna Rjuna, argued that the reason given by the restaurant management was unacceptable.
"Every employee or food operator actually needs to attend a course of food operators and they will be taught about health aspects.
"Every restaurant, especially big restaurants, will have their supervisors and managers who will monitor the work of the workers, so in this case, restaurants fail in the monitoring aspect," he said.
