Although the problem is only confronted by consumers in some areas, it is unacceptable to the eyes of the Selangor Water Supply Company Sdn. Bhd. (Syabas).
This is because consumers still have to pay a fairly high bill even if they do not get quality water supplies as they are responsible.
Based on recent complaints received, Kosmo journalist! has conducted a survey on several residential areas in the Klang Valley to get a real picture.
A resident of Pantai Dalam, Amran Zakir, 31, said the monthly charge bill paid was unprofitable as the water supply in his house was dirty.
He said the stains would accumulate on the bottom of the tank and could cause the pipe to clog.
Every month the water bill needs to be settled but the water supplied is dirty.
He added that sometimes the water supply was not available due to low pressure, he said when met at his home here yesterday.
