Water is said to be unclean when it contains germs, worms, or substances
Toxic chemicals.
Germs (very small living organisms, too small to be seen,
which causes many diseases) and worms, such as worms
ribbons, hookworms, bracelet worms, causes a number of serious diseases.
Germs and worms live in human and animal waste (urine and dirt) and can cause serious and
chronic diseases if:
• Man and animal waste are not discarded
in the right way.
• water sources are not protected and maintained
cleanliness.
• there is not enough water to shower.
Some of the diseases it causes,
such as diarrhea, spread rapidly and
can lead to many deaths.
Other illnesses that cause inflammation
and worms can cause pain
which is chronic and leads to health problems
others such as dehydration, infection, anemia (lack of blood),
and malnutrition. Because of the most common symptoms of
diseases caused by germs and worms are
Diarrhea, these diseases are often called diarrheal diseases
